What We Believe
At Bible Time for Busy Women, everything we do is rooted in the truth of God’s Word. As a women’s Bible study ministry, we believe that Scripture is the foundation for life and faith, and that the Spirit empowers us to live it out daily.
Our commitment is to lead women into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through the Word, prayer, and the power of the Holy Spirit. These beliefs guide who we are, how we study, and how we grow together in Christ.
We hold to the truth of God’s Word as our foundation. Our ministry is built on the belief that the Bible is alive, powerful, and able to transform lives today. As women devoted to growing in Christ, we stand firmly in these core beliefs:
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God, written by holy men as they were moved by the Spirit. It is the final authority for faith and life. (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:21).
God
We believe in one God, who has revealed Himself as Father, in the Son, and through the Holy Spirit. He is eternal, all-powerful, holy, and sovereign. (Deuteronomy 6:4; John 1:1–14; Matthew 28:19).
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God manifested in the flesh—fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, and now reigns as Lord.
Through His sacrifice, we have salvation and new life. (John 1:14; 1 Timothy 3:16; Acts 4:12).
Our beliefs are rooted in the truths of the Christian faith. We are a community of women who seek to live out these beliefs in real and heartfelt ways.
Salvation
We believe salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It is received through repentance, baptism in the name of Jesus, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit. Salvation is a gift available to all who believe. (Acts 2:38; Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9–10).
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the power and baptism of the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in tongues as in the book of Acts, and that the Spirit equips and empowers believers to live holy lives and walk in victory. (Acts 2:1–4; Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:16).
Serving Others
We are called to love and serve others as an expression of our faith. We actively seek opportunities to make a positive impact in our communities and beyond.
Growing in Faith
Our faith is a journey, not a destination. We are committed to continuous growth, deeper understanding, and applying God's Word to our daily lives.
Hope and Joy
Our faith fills us with hope and joy, even in the midst of life's challenges. We strive to share this hope and joy with others through our actions and attitudes.
In all that we do, we aim to reflect the love of God, grow in our relationship with Him, and support one another on our spiritual journeys.
