About This Week's Reading: The book of Proverbs is a collection of wisdom given to help God's people live with understanding and discernment. Much of it was written by King Solomon, who asked God for wisdom above riches or power. Rather than focusing only on knowledge, Proverbs teaches how to live in a way that honors the Lord in our everyday decisions.
How This Passage Fits into the Bible: These verses highlight a timeless truth found throughout the Bible: God’s people are called to trust Him, even when they can’t see the full picture. From Abraham leaving his homeland, to Moses leading Israel, to the disciples following Jesus, the Bible consistently shows that God’s guidance is often best understood when we walk by faith rather than by sight.
