Our lives have a unique way of filling every available moment. It seems like there’s always one more thing to do, one more message to respond to, one more responsibility that feels urgent.
When these moments happen, we tend to give into the temptation to push quiet time with God to the bottom of the list, thinking we’ll get to it “later” when the day slows down. But there will never be a perfect moment. Waiting for one often means we’ll never get to it.
Psalm 46:10 says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” That doesn't mean you have to scurry around to find the perfect chair, the perfect cup of coffee, or even a perfectly quiet room. It's all about intentionality. You practice making space for God to speak.
Whether your quiet time is ten minutes before the kids wake up or a few moments in the middle of your lunch break, God honors the choice to show up. He's looking for a heart that longs to be with Him.
This week, choose a specific time to meet with Him and guard it like it matters. Treat it like the most important appointment on your calendar.
Don’t wait for everything around you to be calm or for your schedule to clear. Even if your time feels short or interrupted, it still counts. God doesn’t measure the value of your quiet time by its length but by your willingness to make it a priority. And the more you show up, the more naturally it becomes part of your daily rhythm.

My Prayer for You, Friend
Showing up for God will change your life more than you realize in the moment. Each meeting with Him shapes your heart, deepens your trust, and builds a foundation of faith you’ll stand on in every season.
Don’t underestimate the power of simply being present with Him. I’m praying that you’ll make this the week you stop waiting for "just right" and start meeting with Him where you are.
Blessings,

Jessica
