What have you been thinking about lately? Every thought we allow to settle into our minds has the potential to shape our outlook, our choices, and even our relationship with God.

That’s why the enemy works hard to plant lies, distractions, and negativity in your thinking. When your mind begins to feel crowded or heavy think about what you've been letting in.

While he was imprisoned and facing uncertainty, Paul wrote, Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue,

and if there be any praise, think on these things.”  (Philippians 4:8)

He understood that the mind has to be guarded if the heart is going to stay steady. He was giving the church at Philippi a strategy for spiritual survival.

When you fill your thoughts with the things of God you're not do so just to feel better. You're fortifying your inner life so the lies of the enemy and the pressures of the world can’t take over.

The more you intentionally focus on what reflects God’s truth and character, the less room there will be for fear, worry, or offense to take root.

Stop long enough to notice what’s been influencing your thought life. Is it a TV show that leaves you restless? A social media feed that stirs comparison? A conversation that drains your spirit? If something steals your joy and peace of mind, turn it off.

If a toxic thought is weighing you down, turn it over to God in prayer. Make intentional choices about what you allow to occupy your mental space, because what you feed will grow.

A quote by Jessica Frazier Bible Time for Busy Women

I'm Praying with You, Friend

Your mind valuable. It is a gift from God that's worth guarding well. Ask the Lord to help you replace anything harmful with what is holy, true, and life-giving. When you protect your mind, you protect your heart. Be determined to set your mind on the things of God and refuse to let the enemy distract you.

Blessings,
